Change text on your WordPress Website

Step 1: Log in to WordPress

  • Go to yourwebsite.co.za/wp-admin

  • Use the login details provided to you


Step 2: Open the Page You Want to Edit

  1. In the left menu, click Pages > All Pages

  2. Hover over the page you want to edit

  3. Click Edit with UX Builder

The page will now open in the visual editor.


Step 3: Understand the UX Builder Layout

  • The page is made up of Sections, Rows, and Elements

  • Click on any text or image to edit it directly

  • A settings panel will appear on the left when you select an item


Step 4: Edit Text

  1. Click on the text you want to change

  2. Edit the text directly on the page

  3. Use the text settings on the left to adjust size, alignment, or colour


Step 5: Change Images

  1. Click on the image

  2. Select Change Image

  3. Upload a new image or choose one from the media library

  4. Click Apply


Step 6: Add New Elements

  1. Click the Add Elements (+) button

  2. Choose what you want to add, for example:

    • Text

    • Image

    • Button

    • Slider

  3. Drag the element onto the page


Step 7: Edit Buttons

  1. Click on the button

  2. Change the button text

  3. Add or edit the link

  4. Adjust colour, size, and style in the settings panel


Step 8: Save Your Changes

  • Click the Apply button in the top right corner

  • Click Save to publish your changes


Step 9: Exit UX Builder

  • Click Exit UX Builder at the top

  • View the page on the website to check your changes
