A simple product is a standard product with no variations (like size or colour).
Steps:

In your WordPress dashboard, go to Products > Add New.

Enter the Product Name at the top.

Add a Product Description in the main content area.

Scroll down to the Product Data section:

Make sure Simple Product is selected in the dropdown.

Enter the Regular Price.

(Optional) Enter a Sale Price if you want a discount.

Set Stock Status and SKU if needed.

Add a Product Short Description (this appears on the product page near the price).

On the right-hand side:

Add a Product Image (main image).
-
Add a Product Gallery (additional images, optional).

Assign Categories and Tags to help customers find the product.

Click Publish to make the product live.
Tip:

Simple products are perfect for items with no options or variations.

If you later want to add variations (like size or colour), you’ll need to change the product type to Variable Product.
