How to edit an existing product on your WordPress Website

Step 1: Open the Product for Editing

1. In your WordPress dashboard, go to Products > All Products.

2. Find the product you want to edit.

3. Hover over the product name and click Edit.

Step 2: Make Changes

• You can edit:

  • Product Name

  • Description and Short Description

  • Product Data (price, stock, product type, shipping, etc.)

  • Product Image and Gallery

  • Categories and Tags

Step 3: Hide a Product (Set as Draft)

If you don’t want to delete the product but want to hide it from the website:

1. On the right-hand side, in the Status box, click Edit next to Status.

2. Select Draft.

3. Click OK, then Update.

• The product will no longer appear on your website but remains in your dashboard.

Step 4: Remove a Product Permanently

1. Go to Products > All Products.

2. Hover over the product you want to remove and click Trash.

3. To permanently delete:

   • Click Trash at the top of the product list.

   • Hover over the product in Trash and click Delete Permanently.

Tips:

• Use Draft to temporarily hide a product without losing its information.

• Permanent deletion cannot be undone, so use with caution.

• You can also use Quick Edit from the product list to change the status or basic details without opening the full editor.
