Microsoft Outlook Setup Instruction

Step 1

Select the accounts options to add a new email account
Applies to all software

Step 2

Select the new account option under the email tab

Step 3

Manually Configure email server settings

Step 4

Select the internet email option, the account type should be Pop3

Step 5

Your Name: Type the name that is displayed to your recipient in here
Email Address: Full email address should be entered here
Account type: Pop3
Incoming Mail Server: mail.yourdomainname.co.za
Outgoing Mail Server: mail.yourdomainname.co.za or smtp.yourserviceprovider.co.za

Log on Information
Email Address: Full email address should be entered here
Password: Enter the password supplied by your hosting provider

NOW CLICK ON THE MORE SETTINGS BUTTONS

Step 6

Under the more settings menu, select the second tab “Outgoing Server”
tick the box {My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication

Then click on the OK button

Then the test account button to test your current settings

Step 7

Your software will now attempt to connect to the email server and then the outgoing server, if any of these fail please double check your settings, if settings are correct, please contact support

Step 8

Your email is now ready to use

Step 9

Congratulations your email address has been setup successfully
